International Forwarding Coordinator

Job Summary

The Forwarding Coordinator handles both import and export shipments, ensuring smooth end-to-end processing. Responsibilities include coordinating with Sales and Operations for shipment requirements, securing freight rates, arranging bookings, and preparing shipping documents. The role also involves monitoring shipments, processing payments, and turning over documents for billing. Close coordination with internal teams and external partners is essential for timely and accurate shipment handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Import Forwarding (IMF)

1. Receive requirements from the Sales Department through Immediate Head or Ops Head (OM).
2. Inquire rates from shipping line, airline or forwarder
3. Once rate is received, forward to Quotation Maker (Acctg)
4. Forward quotation to (OM) for client approval
5. Once approved, arrange booking to shipping line, airline or forwarder
