Internship - Accounting

Work Location

Kuala Lumpur: Sunway Velocity (short walking distance from Cochrane / Maluri MRT)

Johor Bahru: Taman Impian Emas

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping using accounting software such as Xero and AutoCount
• Assist in preparing full set of accounts on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accounting schedules, including bank reconciliations, AP reconciliations, payroll summary, fixed asset schedules, lease schedules
• Liaise with clients to obtain required information and documents
• Gain hands-on experience with accounting software and relevant IT tools
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/ Finance or an equivalent qualification
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-initiative
• Meticulous and organised
