Internship - Quantity Survey

What You Will Do & Learn

As a Quantity Surveying Intern, you will be integrated into our Project Management or Contracts & Cost department. You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle under the guidance of experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.

Your key learning areas will include:

1. Cost Planning & Estimation: Assist in preparing preliminary cost estimates, feasibility studies, and tender documentation.
2. Tender Process: Participate in tender exercises, including analysis of subcontractor quotations and preparation of tender comparison reports.
3. Contract Administration: Learn about the PAM / JKR standard forms of contract used in our projects. Assist in preparing interim valuations, payment certificates, and variation orders.
4. Site Measurement & Valuation: Conduct site visits (where applicable) to undertake progress monitoring, site measurements, and prepare reports on material deliveries.
