About the Role
We are excited to be recruiting a Fixed Term or Locum, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) Interventional Cardiologist at Dunedin Hospital.
The appointee is expected to:
* Participate in diagnostic angiography, right heart catheterisation, PCI (including OCT, Shockwave, IVUS) and structural work including TAVR, TEER and LAA closure.
* Conduct face-to-face patient clinics, providing comprehensive assessments and management plans for a range of cardiac conditions.
* Collaborate with general medicine teams in managing complex cardiac cases including providing an in-hospital consult service.
This role does have an on-call component for both general cardiology and the 24/7 primary PCI roster for the Otago / Southland region.
