Job Description Summary

:Under the general supervision of the Clinical Manager, the employee is responsible for providing quality patient care and technical physician support in the performance of vascular procedures in either the Cardiac Cath or Radiology Specials setting. Employee is responsible for performing these procedures on an assigned shift and is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Adheres to Quality Plus standards and departmental quality guidelines, always places patient needs first.

Performs routine or emergent vascular procedures.

Scrubs and assists physician in sterile vascular procedures.

Prepares the room and patient for the examination, i.e., sterile site prep and site marking when appropriate.

Circulates on all vascular procedures, both routine and emergent, to include sterile patient prep and care of the patient during the procedure.
