Inventory Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional with 3–5 years of experience in inventory accounting or finance who thrives in a fast-paced, independent work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain accurate records of inventory purchases, transfers, and adjustments
• Reconcile balances between systems and vendor data
• Investigate discrepancies and report findings
• Support month-end close with inventory/COGS journal entries
• Analyze valuation, obsolescence, and shrinkage
• Prepare reports for management review
• Collaborate with warehouse, AP, and purchasing teams

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years’ experience in inventory accounting or finance
• Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
• Experience with QuickBooks (a plus)
• Strong accounting/finance foundation
