Inventory and Cost Accountant

Job Overview

Responsible in attaining Accounting Dept.s goal of accurate, complete, and timely filing and reporting of all transactions that are recorded and posted in the companys Accounting Information System. He/she acts as integrator of all data of the company. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Computes and reports costing of projects and services
• Review and consolidate cost and margin analysis report
• Prepare JVs for cost related adjustments
• Review stock transfers (in/out). Ensure transfer out from transferring warehouse is reconciled with transfer-in in receiving area
• Organize and coordinate conduct of periodic and cycle inventory count
• Consolidate results of inventory count
• Investigate inventory shrinkages
• Reports periodic inventory balance
• Organize inventory disposal
