Inventory Control Planner

**Position Summary:**

The Inventory Control Planner will develop and manage inventory plans to determine the levels of materials needed for our manufacturing operations. Review and perform inventory cycle counts for accuracy of shipped product and received goods, monitor inventory variances and discrepancies and make recommendations for resolution of issues. This position reports to our Sr. Accounting Manager. .

**Essential Functions of the Job:**

+ Manage inventory to ensure inventory levels meet production needs, while minimizing costs and reducing excess stock.
+ Develop and execute inventory management plans and create allocation strategies.
+ Analyze trends and historical performance to forecast potential needed changes in stocking levels.
+ Work collaboratively with sales and marketing to ensure enough product to support their initiatives.
