Inventory & Logistics Supervisor

Summary

/Objective: The Inventory & Logistics Supervisorwill manage, supervise, and coordinate the activities related to stocking & replenishing goods, picking product and preparing for shipment, and ensuring that Samtec’s Inventory System is operational.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

Responsible to manage, lead and supervise a team to achieve the organizational objectives.

Be the area owner and accountable for the area / department performance metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Provide support to all inventory and traffic locations Globally maintaining high service levels.

Maintain excellent interdepartmental communications, including with manufacturing, compliance, logistics, supply chain, and global inventory and traffic teams.

Respond to the various departments within the organization who may need information regarding vendors, products, deliveries, etc.
