Inventory Management Specialist

Summary The Inventory Management Specialist located within the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy - Chelmsford is responsible for inventory management and purchase of expendable and non-expendable supplies in the assigned CMOP. Responsibilities Duties may include but are not limited to: Manages and controls as assigned class of expendable material for a CMOP location. Recognized as an authority on expendable (EX) and non-expendable (NX) commodity management and serves as a point of contact to all service lines. Acts as a point of contact for coordination of commodity support and resolution supply problems across departments. Makes decisions and commitments for the CMOP on pharmaceutical, medical/surgical, and other supplies. Conducts quantitative analysis of historical usage patterns for opportunities for potential cost savings, efficiencies, and process improvements.
