Inventory Manager

Introduction

Our client, a leading manufacturer of engineered components supplying a wide range of industries, is looking for a hands‑on Inventory Manager to join their team.  This role requires someone who can take ownership of higher‑level purchasing, ensure accurate stock information, and keep the stores running efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the buyer and stores team.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained and replenished correctly.
• Oversee monthly and annual stock takes.
• Handle all advanced or project‑based purchasing, including imports.
• Negotiate best pricing and manage supplier relationships.
• Work with suppliers on contract pricing and visit suppliers when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date information on stock levels, orders, and related systems.
• Oversee and manage 1 Buyer and 2 Storemen
