Inventory Staff

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all kitchen inventory including food, beverages, utensils, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
• Receive and inspect deliveries for quantity, quality, and compliance with purchase orders.
• Label and store all items in accordance with food safety standards (FIFO, proper temperature, etc.).
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits; report discrepancies and low stock levels.
• Work with chefs and kitchen managers to forecast inventory needs based on menus and usage patterns.
• Dispose of expired or spoiled items according to health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas (dry storage, refrigeration, freezer, etc.).
• Assist in placing orders with suppliers and maintaining supplier records.
• Track waste and contribute to minimizing food loss.
• Follow all food safety and workplace safety protocols.
