Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing Worker

12 Month Full-time Contract Position in Kirkland Lake

Responsibilities: Provide a broad spectrum of children’s services including preventative and child protection services to children and families, completing risk assessments, developing protection plans and completing required documentation necessary for determining disposition.

Qualifications and Skills

  • MSW or BSW preferred; a College Diploma in Social Services or similar university degree or diploma considered.
  • Experience working with children, youth and families.
  • Able to interpret and apply relevant legislative requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours as required.
  • Willing to travel as required.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
