Summary This position is located in one of the domestic field or resident offices within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Domestic Operations Directorate, Office of Field Office Management, (DS/DO/FLD). The office manages policies and processes for domestic field and resident offices across the United States. Its responsibilities include investigating passport and visa fraud, providing protective security to foreign dignitaries, and maintaining liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement. Responsibilities Research, obtain, and analyze classified and unclassified databases to follow trends of criminal violations related to passport and visa fraud, including fraudulent misconduct with potential nexus to human trafficking and national security threats. Search and link various databases information that determines criminal activities or methodologies to support criminal prosecutions.
