IoT Technician

Join our Tauranga Cirro team at Geotechnics and play a key role in delivering smart monitoring solutions across NewZealand.

This is a permanent role with elements of field and computer-based work, suited to someone with practical electrical, automation, or instrumentation experience who enjoys getting out on site and working with real-world technology. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IoT-based monitoring systems that provide critical data for infrastructure, geotechnical, and environmental projects.

If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with IoT hardware, and seeing the direct impact of your work, this role will suit you well. From assembling and testing equipment in the workshop through to installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault‑finding on site. No two days are the same, and you’ll work across a wide variety of locations and projects.
