Irrigation Technician

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the golf course irrigation system to ensure optimal turf and landscape health. This role requires technical expertise in irrigation equipment, pumps, and controls, along with the ability to work closely with the golf course superintendent and grounds team to maintain playing conditions at the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair the golf course irrigation system, including pumps, controllers, sprinklers, and valves.
• Monitor irrigation schedules and make adjustments to meet turf and landscape water requirements.
• Inspect the golf course daily to identify irrigation issues such as leaks, malfunctions, or dry spots.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of irrigation equipment.
