IT Asset

POSITION PRIMARY PURPOSE

IT Asset Management is responsible for ensuring that technology assets are tracked, received, recovered, deployed, and retired in a controlled manner. The IT Asset Management processes all incoming equipment validates each shipment and updates the asset inventory database. The IT Asset Management is responsible for testing and evaluating returned equipment and processing end-of-life equipment. The IT Asset Management tracks assets not connected to the network and recovers assets not in use.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for recording technology assets by implementing and observing the system of procedures, forms, and controls set by the Management.
• Monitoring, deployment, and dispatching of laptops and other IT assets.
• Record in the Database newly acquired fixed assets and those disposed and moved (BU to BU or for WAH)
• Carry out inventory counts of tech assets physically
