IT Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on IT Engineer to support a nationally critical Home Office programme.

This role will focus on upgrading and maintaining IT infrastructure across multiple UK sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for server upgrades, IP address configuration, network changes, and general infrastructure support within secure, operational environments.

Due to the nature of the programme, regular UK-wide travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade and replace servers across multiple secure sites
• Configure and manage IP addressing, subnetting, and network changes
• Support infrastructure refresh activities including hardware installation and decommissioning
• Perform system builds, patching, and software upgrades
• Ensure all work is completed in line with security policies and change management procedures
• Troubleshoot network and server-related issues onsite
