The Security Engineer designs, implements and manages security solutions, ensuring effective defense against cyber threats, protecting data integrity and preventing data theft. This role involves threat detection, vulnerability analysis, support ticket handling, and implementing security controls and related solutions (such as Data Leakage Prevention, Vulnerability Management, Security Hardening, Public Key Infrastructure, Secrets Management, Privileged Access Management and Endpoint Security). Education and training of staff on security best practices is also part of the role.
