IT Software Tester

What You Will Do

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Identify, analyze and create detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues and output errors, and work directly with developers to find solutions and develop retesting procedures
• Perform all aspects of product testing including functional, automation, component, system, integration, regression and exploratory testing
• Coordinate with developers, data analysts, business analysts and business users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Notify the Software Test Lead / Senior Tester of any major issues that may be encountered during testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
