IT Specialist

General:

The Information Technology Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the IT systems and equipment of a new 300-employee poultry processing facility. This position collaborates closely with Site IT Specialists and the corporate IT team, ensuring the successful installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of essential plant systems, including weighing, labeling, traceability, stun, QA, shipping, maintenance, PC's, printers, and core network infrastructure. The IT Specialist reports to the Complex Manager/Corporate IT with a primary work schedule of Monday-Friday during the day shift (4am-1pm), demonstrating flexibility to work additional hours, holidays, weekends, and overtime on short notice as needed.
