Job Description
- Supervises and provides guidance to a team of IT professionals, including training, assigning tasks and conducting performance evaluations.
- Oversees the organization's IT infrastructure, including computer systems, networks, servers and hardware/software installations. Ensures the systems are secure, reliable and properly maintained
- Initiate proposals that will help the company speed up operations such as hardwares in Ports, Vessels and Head Office
- Provides reports to the IT Manager with IT infrastructure, project status and timelines
- Proposes IT policy and procedures to the IT Manager
- Develops and implements plans and procedures to ensure the organizations IT systems can recover quickly in case of disruptions or disasters. Conducts regular back ups, tests and drills to verify the effectiveness of the plans
