IT Support Engineer

Role Description

An IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth technology operations across the organisation. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT infrastructure, and supporting end-users with day-to-day technical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, networks, and IT systems
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues via email, chat, phone, or onsite
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and applications
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
• Monitor and maintain network performance, connectivity, and security
• Support IT asset management, inventory tracking, and equipment upgrades
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and system configurations
• Assist with system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance
