Job Description

Experience with the specific POS system being used, including transaction processing and sales reporting 
Maintaining and supporting all POS-related IT equipment, including servers, desktops, cash registers, laptops, databases, and printers 
Troubleshooting POS software 
Analyzing user requirements as well as software performance 
Installing updates 
Supporting and solving system issues or failures 
Working with IT and technical teams to develop and modify systems to meet current and future needs 
Hardware and software testing and diagnostics 
Networking: Knowledge of network configuration and protocols is a foundational skill 
Time management: the skill to multitask, manage a workload efficiently, and stay organized in a busy environment 
Software and upgrade installation
