IT TECHNICIAN

A Career opportunity exists for an IT Technician at our Head Office, in East London (HO). We have one (1) vacancy to fill. The IT Technician will be responsible to assist the Systems Administrator to drive, manage, deliver and plan all specifically assigned IT related tasks of the business. The IT Technician will assist the Systems Administrator to make sound business choices within their specific department/ role. Key Accountabilities: Remote and on-site support • Offer first line and second line remote support • On-site support when necessary • Installation of POS and systems • Maintenance and management of IT systems, such as, but not limited to: o Telephones, internet, digital media • Manage 3rd party support calls logged with service providers Hardware and Software • Manage and maintenance current software deployed at JUMBO, such as, but not limited to: o Microsoft OS o Microsoft 365 products o Pastel Evolution o Third Party Services and Software • Configuration and maintenance of...
