IV Homecare Nurse - Brecon

Overview

Registered IV Homecare Nurse. Fully expensed company car and fuel card. Full time - 40 hours per week. Brecon, Powys, mid Wales.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their own homes, at work or school to deliver medical treatments such as IV infusions, home parenteral nutrition (HPN/TPN) and intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
• Train patients to administer their own medication and provide high quality 1-2-1 care with a focus on clinical excellence and patient independence.
• Manage your own workload with good organisation and attention to detail; travel between patients extensively as part of daily duties.

Essential experience and qualifications

• Experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Demonstrates a high level of care and empathy; able to help patients regain independence.
• Well-organised, comfortable managing own workload; basic IT skills required.
