Java Engineer – Equity Algo Trading Technology – Tier One buyside firm

The role:

Join a highly technical Algorithmic Trading team supporting a new electronic trading business. The role focuses on building and enhancing core execution, OMS, and inventory control systems, working closely with senior engineers and regional equities technology leadership at a global tier one hedge fund.

Requirements

• Strong core Java engineer with deep server-side experience (Spring Boot)
• Strong understanding of concurrency, multi-threading, and low/no-GC design patterns
• High focus on testability (TDD/XP preferred)
• Experience with algo / electronic trading systems (OMS, inventory control)
