Job Description
Job Summary The NPI Project Manager Lead will drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for Sanmina's key automotive account. This role acts as the primary bridge between the customer's engineering teams and Sanmina's manufacturing plants, ensuring that high-voltage, power electronics, or complex PCBA projects transition seamlessly from prototype to mass production on time and meeting strict automotive standards.
Core Responsibilities
NPI Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Production) through all product launch phases to ensure flawless Start of Production (SOP).
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for the client's NPI and supply chain teams; manage engineering change orders and project milestones.
Risk & Schedule Control: Develop and maintain master project timelines (Gantt), proactively identifying and mitigating technical or material risks.
