Jewish Community Associate

We are seeking a Jewish Community Associate for our award winning retirement community to implement the pastoral ministries program for the Jewish resident community. Plans in cooperation with the Pastoral Ministries Coordinator for the Jewish Community and community wide outreach and fellowship.


This position is part-time, 10 hours weekly. Schedule is Tuesdays: 9am-12pm and Fridays: 2pm-5pm, plus 4 additional hours to be determined upon hiring.


Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $30-$35 per hour.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Serves as a Rabbi to any Jewish resident seeking such service and is proactive in demonstrating this availability.
+ Ministers to the specific Jewish residents by providing those services required by a clerical person and those services preferred from a clergy.
