Join NEBS Pension Committee in Yellowknife

Northern Employee Benefits Services (NEBS) is searching for passionate northerners to fill three positions on the NEBS Pension Committee beginning March 1, 2024. Contribute to meaningful discussions about pension plans and represent the interests of over 2000 members.
NEBS is a not-for-profit organization supporting public sector entities in NWT and Nunavut. The selected candidates will attend 3 to 4 meetings annually in Yellowknife or other northern communities. Familiarity with NEBS and pensions is essential for effective participation and advocacy for members' interests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend quarterly meetings in Yellowknife or alternate locations
• Advocate for pension plan members' best interests
• Collaborate with the elected Board and appointed members
• Stay informed on pension plan developments
• Contribute insights based on personal and professional experience
