Gender Equity in Media Society Vancouver (GEMS) - previously named Women in Film and Television Vancouver (WIFTV) - is a member-based organization committed to advancing gender equity in film and television. The GEMS Board of Directors is seeking established professionals and strategic leaders to join our governance board! As a governing body, the Board provides high-level operational direction, fiscal stewardship, and legal oversight to ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability and accountability to the community we serve.

We are actively looking to diversify our governance team by recruiting strategic thinkers from within and outside the film and television industry.
