JCREOR (Journal of the Council for Research on Religion) is seeking applicants for 2 Associate Editor positions for a 12-month term from June 1st, 2026 to May 31st, 2027. It is a peer-reviewed open-access publication that publishes bi-annually. For more information, see

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the peer-review process for manuscripts assigned to you.
• Assisting ESL and FSL authors with writing and editing assistance.
• Copy-editing, proofreading, layout tasks.
• Assisting the managing editors and editor-in-chief as required, which may include pre‑screening articles, proposing themes for special issues and identifying/inviting appropriate Guest Editors to lead them, utilizing your academic networks to identify/invite new editorial board members, etc.

Requirements

You must be authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located. ...
