We are looking for a talented and passionate Multimedia Journalist to join NZME’s Open Justice - Te Pātiti team.

An open and transparent legal system is one of the hallmarks of a well-functioning democracy. As a court reporter, you become the public’s eyes and ears, playing a vital role in shining a light on the judicial process.

We have a specialised team of ringfenced Open Justice reporters across the country. An opportunity has now come up to add another member to our team in the Manawatū-Whanganui region.

How You’ll Do It

As part of the Open Justice team, you’ll produce impactful multimedia content for NZME’s extensive digital and print platforms, including the New Zealand Herald, Newstalk ZB, and regional mastheads. Your work will also feature on Radio New Zealand, Top South Media, Whakaata Māori, and Allied Media through our content partnerships.
