Journey Gas Worker

**Position Description:**
Our Journey Gas Worker Program is a structured 12-24 month training program designed to provide new field employees with sufficient training and on-the-job work experience to prepare the employee to properly and safely complete their job duties.
The program consists of gas distribution, field service, and gas operations while focusing on safety, including excavation, fire extinguishers, hazard communication, respiratory protection, personal protective equipment training, and safe vehicle operation.
Functions of this job will include, but are not limited to:
+ Safely operating company equipment
+ Ability to perform general construction labor related to installation of main lines, service renewals, and line replacement
+ Troubleshooting and investigating gas leaks
+ First responder to leaks - reacting immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others
