Job Description
Field Heavy Duty Mechanic – Earthworks & Underground Construction.
WCL is looking for a certified Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to work in the field supporting both our earthworks and underground water & sewer crews. This role focuses on on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep production moving.
What You Need:
- Licensed Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (Off-Road designation required).
- Minimum 3 years experience working on heavy civil and underground equipment.
- Experience working on excavators, dozers, graders, scrapers, loaders, and service trucks.
- Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Experience working in field environments with service trucks.
- Ability to perform preventative, planned, and emergency repairs on site.
