Journeyworker Plumber (Johns Hopkins Facilities & Real Estate) - #Staff

Johns Hopkins Facilities & Real Estate is seeking a **_Journeyworker - Plumbe_** **_r_** who performs maintenance, installation and repair work on piped utility systems and fixtures and on the piping and connection of equipment. This work is performed under limited supervision and using the tools and techniques of plumbing technology.

**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Perform inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure safety and functionality.
+ Reads and interprets complex schematic and construction drawings, service manuals and other technical documents.
+ Follows instructions provided by blueprints, drawings, written materials, work orders and oral instructions.
+ Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses and resolves routine and complex plumbing equipment problems and component conditions.
+ Adhere to all applicable requirements, including safety standards and local codes.
+ Interpret diagrams, blueprints and other related drawings.
