Job Brief:
The Junior Accountant provides essential support to the Accounting and Finance team by assisting in daily accounting operations, compliance reporting, and asset management activities. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, timely tax filings, payroll validation, and proper documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to develop strong technical accounting skills while contributing to process improvements and internal control compliance.
A. General Accounting Support
Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Perform initial checks of invoices, billing statements, and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
Help address routine vendors and internal inquiries regarding payment status, invoice discrepancies, or documentation needs.
Prepare and maintain basic accounting schedules and reports.
