Jr. Accounting Assistant (Audit) - Remote

In this role, the Jr Accounting Assistant provides vital support to our client by performing overall accounting duties through processing the available financial information in the cloud-based accounting systems of the client. The Jr. Accounting Assistant ensures that the financial ledgers are up to date on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This may include, but is not limited to, processing of sales and purchase invoices, bank transactions, reclassification journals for revenue, recurring, accrual, and payroll entries.

Aside from that, the Jr. Accounting Assistant provides assistance to the Accounting SME with maintaining a clean and updated general ledger, including account reconciliations and resolving of discrepancies. The Jr. Accounting Assistant also assists the Accounting SME and other team members where needed to accomplish the department goals, and to prepare ad-hoc reports to the management as needed.
