Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work with our established water resources team in Saskatchewan under intermediate and senior engineers to complete design and project management duties. The position requires a broad range of skills, self-motivation, and problem solving. The work will involve engineering on all project phases for irrigation infrastructure, dam infrastructure, water control structures, pump stations, canals, pipelines, earthworks, and hydrology projects. In general, the successful candidate may be required to complete the following tasks:
Perform general project engineering duties under the supervision of a Professional Engineer,
Work with the project team to prepare reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents,
Complete preliminary engineering studies and assessments that may include:Hydrology modellingHydraulic modellingDam safetyPreliminary designCost estimating
