Primary Responsibilities - Provides management with clear, timely and accurate information with which to make decisions.
Alerts management to deviations (or potential deviations) from established plans.
- Capable of ensuring timely and effective completion of Shortage Report, Late P.O.s, MRP Action Messages, - Coordinates & expedites the placement of purchase orders and/or delivery of material.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintenance of parts in ERP system; including lead times, ABC classifications, safety stock level, and other planning features.
- Costing Knowledge (Total Cost of Ownership (TCO))/Negotiation - Possess knowledge of material costing, including many of the elements of TCO such as inspections, packaging, shipping.

Capable of not only buying components at Target Cost, but also able to drive favorable PPV.
