POSITION SUMMARY
• The Jr. Thermal Engineer supports new product development and product sustaining tasks. The Jr. Thermal Engineer provides direct daily support to engineering groups by focusing on Thermal design, Testing and simulation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings and sales literature.
• Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group.
• Supports analysis through mathematical modeling, HVAC software, and simulation for New Product Development.
• Working with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production builds .
• Works closely with technicians and other engineers, providing technical support and guidance to thermal problems.
