Jr. Third Officer

We are looking for 3 Jr. Third Officers to join our growing fleet

Qualification:

• At least 1 year experience as Jr. Third Officer (or equivalent) on international trade or an OIC license holder AB with at least 2 contracts as AB on international trade.

Job Description:

Safety and Security

• Assist the Third Officer in inspecting and maintaining the condition of the Safety, Security, Lifesaving and Oil-spill Pollution Prevention equipment and keep a good recording system for its maintenance, as well as ensuring regular updates in AMOS.
• Assist the Third Officer in updating Emergency Plan and Station Bill Card for Fire and Abandon Ship, with approval from the Master.
• Participate, implement and follow up on the Safety, Security and Quality Management System.
• Conduct safety and security checks in accordance with the checklist provided by the Company in dealing with Illegal Drugs and Stowaways.
