Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a leading auctioneering company in North America. Reporting to the Controller/Assistant Controller, the Financial Accountant will facilitate financial reporting and compliance across multiple Canadian entities. The role involves working closely with Operational and Corporate Finance Teams, contributing to the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, working papers, and conducting variance analysis.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role
• University degree in finance or accounting
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud and Salesforce
• Preparation of monthly journals with supporting documents
• Monthly SG&A and P&L variance analysis for multiple entities
• Running reports from the accounting system to support the team
