Junior Accountant

Primary Responsibilities

Transactional & General Accounting

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Prepare routine journal entries with review and approval.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

Reconciliations & Reporting Support

• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to senior staff.

Compliance & Documentation

• Follow established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintain organized financial files and audit support documentation.
• Support compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Systems & Process Support

• Enter and maintain data in accounting systems.
