RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor and responsible for a variety of duties across the financial accounting function.
• Timely and accurate monthly closing, ensuring all authorised journals are processed and appropriate accruals are made.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Ensure all Group financial reporting deadlines are met
• Ensure timely completion of monthly general ledger reconciliation
• Ensure timely completion of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintenance of direct debits
• Ensure accurate maintenance of suppliers' bank accounts set up and updates
• Assist in the annual audit and preparation of tax obligations
• Assist in regional and group reporting as required
