• Support senior accountants in carrying out bookkeeping and reconciliations.
• Handle sales and purchase ledgers, and perform bank, petty cash, and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports and board packs.
• Support the preparation of payroll allocation and reallocation journals.
• Assist with accruals, prepayment journals, and corporation tax provisions.
• Help in preparing UK statutory accounts under FRS 105 and FRS 102.
• Support the filing of Corporation Tax (CT600), Self-Assessment, and UK VAT returns.
• Assist in supplier and client communication, including preparing aged payable reports and reconciliation of accounts.
• Gain exposure to software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Tax Filer, FreeAgent, and IRIS PTP Accounts Production.
• Attend weekly meetings and collaborate with team members through MS Teams.
