Purpose of the position

The Junior Accountant: Project Accounting is responsible for the accurate processing and maintenance of project financial data on the financial system. The role supports the full project life cycle by ensuring all project transactions, budgets, and documentation are complete, compliant, and aligned to internal and audit requirements. The accountant acts as an interface and liaison between project teams and the broader organization.

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (NQF level 7).
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience.
• Diploma in Accounting or Financial Management (NQF level 6).
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a relevant field.
