Junior Accountant – Accounting Firm (Cape Town CBD)

A growing accounting firm based in Cape Town CBD is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Capturing books up to Trial Balance
• Experience working on SARS eFiling
• Experience with CIPC submissions
• Matric (essential)
• Relevant degree or diploma (advantageous)
• Experience with Xero and/or Sage (advantageous)
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent communication skills (email, WhatsApp & telephonic)
• Ability to work well within a team

Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily capturing of transactions from source documents
• Handling client correspondence
• General bookkeeping and accounting support

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday | 09:00 – 17:00
