Junior Associate

Responsibilities:

• Applicants will be trained to handle tax litigation, tax advisory, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, transfer pricing, design and documentation, assistance in tax assessments, claims for refunds, requests rulings, availment of incentives, local taxes and varied corporate services. He/She will work under the supervision of a senior associate and a partner.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Laws Degree and passed the bar.
• The position is open to lawyers with or without experience in taxation. However, experience in taxation, corporate and/or in securities law is an advantage.
• Being a CPA is a big advantage.
• The applicant must have an interest in tax (including tax litigation), corporate and/or securities practice.
