Junior Auditor

JOB SUMMARY:

The Junior Auditor assists in performing audit tasks based on the department's projects. They help review operations and internal controls to ensure these are effective and follow company policies, laws, and regulations. The Junior Auditor supports the team by documenting findings and reporting them to the Senior Auditor and department head.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintains audit documentation according to established standards.
2. Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items against documentation and company policies and procedures.
3. Performs regular cash count – petty cash and revolving funds.
4. Checks disbursements and verifies if in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
5. Prepares clear and complete reports of audit procedures and findings.
6. Coordinates with Senior Auditor to determine audit scope and timeliness
